Dana 60, complements of a 79 F250.

Painted, re-geared to 5.38s and a Detroit for good measure. Bolted under the Bronco.

Dana 44HD, complements od another 79 F250. It's on the stand, getting 5.38s and a drop in Detroit.

Here's the Dana 44HD cleaned up, w/5.38 gears, a drop-in Detroit and a fresh coat of paint. That's Ron's diff guard sitting on the tool box. It'll definitely protect my investment.

All the TTB bracketry will be gone tomorrow!

Take a look at those calipers. I can not wait to get this rig back on the trail. Broncofest is this next weekend.

It's under there. Let teh fabrication work begin.

Bailed on coils. Got a sweet deal on some F350 Superlift leaf springs. I already like the looks of this.

The rear shackle will prove to be interesting on the passenger side. May need to move the catalytic converter.
Got a couple of sticks of 2X4 3/16" thick. Cut one just long enough to fit between the framerails. Notched the end to slide it in. (Driver's side).

Notched the passenger side to get that side in there.

Here's the spring packs setting against the square tube. Looks pretty good so far.
The same view from the passenger side. Now I'll get to work on the spring hangers.
