Purchased as a $4000 used car in 1997; said to have belonged to owner of Art Hill Ford in Merrillville, Indiana. Taken off the road from 2004 to 2006 for engine work; spent ~2 years drivable again with new engine, now off the road again. Had offers from a local demolition racer in the meantime, but haven't felt its condition is bad enough to send it off that way. |

Startup, idle, revs, more idle, and shutoff from rear quarter view. Image quality is low for smaller file size. Torqueover is there, but hard to see due to image resolution. 52 seconds.

Startup from inside the car, went out under the hood, rev from underhood, then back inside and shutoff. I've been starting the car with a pushbutton for so long this is a big deal for me! 25 seconds.

Relocated resistor block. Since the resistance coils were originally located inside the "suitcase" thing under the hood, I concluded that they're supposed to be exposed to constant airflow, so I stuck them here in the plenum inside the car.

And finally, the business end of the choke cable. I just stuck the wire part in the clip on the temperature-control door lever and made a bracket to hold the housing more or less stationary. It seems to work!
