walls are covered with 1/4" plywood waynescoting. its not the high dollar stuff, but a huge step up from the mdf crap a lot of guys use.

this is a little recessed shelf i built using the waynescoting for backer and regular door casing for the trim/framing

not the best pic, but there is a recessed shelf built into the shower using the same tile as the shower itself

floor tile on a diagonal. creates a little more waste but adds a nice touch

12" tile with glass ceramic tile for contrast

mosaic tile used for backing the mirror and backing in the recessed open med cab

12" tile on the wall with a bullnose top. 16" tile on a diagonal for the floor

12" tile off-set on the walls (laid like brickwork) with 6" tile on a diagonal for the shower floor, shower seat, curb and bath floor

recessed shelf with 6" tile on a diagonal for backing and tempered glass shelves

recessed, open med cabinet with 6" tile on a diagonal for backing with glass shelves
