Tuffy console install was a bit of a pain, the instructions weren't that great. I did use the rear bracket that came with the console, didn't think I would need to at first, but it was necessary to get it to sit correctly. Drilling holes in the floor proved to be a bit of a challenge, the back two weren't much of an issue, but the front one came down right near the transfer case, making it difficult to thread the nut on the bolt.

Less than a year after ordering myTuffy center console, the cup holder started to rust. You would think a company that makes product intended for off road use would have put a better finish on it. I contacted tuffy and they said they would look into it, but the product finish was not part of the warranty..
stay tuned

Tuffy wanted me to send the cup holder back to them on my dime and they said they would re-paint it. That seemed like a hassle and I didn't feel like screwing around with packing and shipping, so I took care of it myself. Used my dremel and cleaned all the flaky paint and rust off, then hit it with a couple of coats of self-ethching primer. After letting that thoroughly dry, I used this left over rubber matting I had to cover the bottom. Some 3M heavy duty adhesive and voila..I think it came out pretty good. Tuffy probably should have done something like this in the first place.
