not the greatest quality video, but this is what a drive shaft sounds like with a bad centering ball. Looks like it's pretty badly our of balance as well.

here is what was left of the centering ball on my double cardan joint..the cracked dust cover would probably explain the premature failure. In addition I found that the slip shaft was no longer moving freely, so it's been dropped off for a complete R&R

The driveshaft is completely shot, in addition to the slip shaft being toast, the cup where the centering ball rides was totally worn out..the drive line shop wanted $400 bucks to rebuild it..ordered a new unit from Bronco Graveyard for $250.

Drive shaft installed..everything bolted up perfectly, I could probably use another couple of inches so the slip shaft isn't extended quite as far, but I think it will be fine.
