Alcan leaf springs for 6 inches of lift, 6 leaves per pack. They've been on my rig for nearly 7 years but don't even have 10K miles on them..I thought the springs were always somewhat too stiff..could be a combination of the short wheel base and large tires, who knows? I can say that it rids better with a bit of a load in the back.

It was suggested that I might try lubing the spring packs. I guess after a while, rust and so forth can cause them to see..my rig has seen a fair bit of mud, so I guess that is possible..

Anyway, I jacked up the rear to take the load off the packs and sprayed a health amount of silicone spray between each leaf..hopefully that will help..I'm thinking I may need to use chassis lube so it lasts a little longer.

This is the drivers side..you can see it's missing one of the leaf spacers, not sure what happened to it.
