This is the design I think I'm going with.

Final slider that was built, pics will follow of cleanup, mounting and painting.

Unfinished slider. going to start by jacking it up into position under vehicle to test fit.

I had drilled holes in the body for the old sliders that just fit up into the channel that runs along the body. So I bolted these axle bumpstops up under there (2 on each side), to act as added contact points for the new sliders. Contact points that won't make noise.

Painted up. They did weigh in at 32 lbs ea.

one side mounted. These took more time to install as I had to unbolt the radius arms to fit them to the frame.

I did end up using a backing plate on the inside of the frame made of 3/16" steel on the rear legs of both sides.
