i found this on Craigs list for free.

this boat was in poor shape.

This was an old boat trailer that i am making into a Flat 6'X10" trailer.

I need to fix the tounge and the pivet mount was damaged so i cut out the old bolt.

while getting parts i found this chipper shipping create. the store owner said get it out of here....so i did. this will make a great plat form base. just alittle cutting and welding.

this was the rest or the top of the create. 2"X2" thin stock.

here is the base all cut and getting ready to re-weld the correct way.not bad for free...

ok- it been awhile but some of the plans changed. i got this back out on the side yard and started to build the trailer. it will be 4'X10" when completed. i needed to fix the hinge so here is the parts all lined up.

this is what i came up with i welded in a round stock in the square tubing to give a better weld angle.

i then took a tire iron and chopped the rod to the correct size. i then drilled and pinned the hinge into place.

out came the axle. i had many different ideas on size but the final size is going to be 4X9 or 4X10.

i had this steel shelf sitting on the side of the house and it was 42" wide so i chopped in half. I welding it to the center bars.

Here is the other side. it is almost ready for the deck and sides.

now the deck is all weleded. here is the front lower deck protection and start of the side.

i installed the front leg and wheel.

with the corner posts in place i was tring a few different sides rails and supports. this was the final look. it is currently duct tape.

here is what it will look like from behind. i do not need the 2 supports in the front but it looks better.

ok all the sides and rails are done. i just need to add the floor and wireing for the lights. then paint

just need the lights and saftey chain and the other fender and she is ready to roll.

here it is from the front. i put the bed liner in to see how it look completed.

i got the sides all welded in place.and a coat of flat black on the metal.

i got a set of trailer lights from home depot. $20

i bolted the lights in place. looking good.

here is the driver side. it turned out good. Time to register it and go put it to work.
