I needed to get some mud flaps to be legal. I just happen to have this fron another project. 2" angle bar and 2"X3" rectangle tube and some 1"X1" tube. so i wanted to get 6" of fram support and marked the scrap.

here is the driver side done and the parts to make the mounts. i used a hitch pin and this allows the flap to be removed for off road playing.

Here are the parts ready for assembly.

here is the bottom view of the mount. the hole is threaded so i can use a bolt to stop the flap from chattering.

|
i used a bolt in spacer. this way i can adjust the presure on the flap to stop the rattling. i just drilled and tapped the holes.

here is the mount bolted the the frame. this view is from the rear for the truck.

you can see the hitch pin here on the front side. i put fue line over the flap bolts to allow easy on and off replacement and no injury from the bolts.

here is the pass side rear. i only had to trim aroung the spring on these flaps.

|
Here is the pass side front. i need to cut and retip the exhaust pipe to make sure it does not melt the flap. should be an easy fix.
