All Jobs need a supervisor. This was mine for this project.

here are the stock and the extended arms. these are 15" longer than stock.
|

the tape is hare to see but it is 15" longer than stock.
|
|
|
The new arms are 15" longer than stock so new holes need to be drilled 15" farther back than stock. to mke this easy i made a tool that was 15" bolt center on bolt center.
|
|
|
i just unbolted one front mount bolt and then put the jig in the hole and line the new mount in the correct spot. i clamped the mount to the frame and checked all holes to verify the distance was correct. i used a paint stick and marked the new spots.

Here ar the superlift 4" radius arm drop mounts. it was good i was replacing the arms. The mounts were loose and started to tear the frame.

here are the stock radius arms. i cleaned them and gave a fast coat of gloss paint.

i took the stock radius arm mounts and clamped them to the frame. i used the jig to make sure they were 15" farther back.

here is the pass side mount. you can see the holes o marked. that is the fuel tank vent line. i moved it out of the way.

Here is the rear of the new extended arms. I used some stock no lift radius arm mounts. you can see the square tube the last owner used to steady the 4" drop mounts. I found the front shaft hit this bar many times. I am glade it is gone.
