i needed a way to move the new shop press around the garage. More free bed rails. Here is the shop press dolly in the first stages.
here is the plan it will wrap around the foot of the press.
here is what it will be. the press will sit in the rails and this will allow the press to move around the shop.

i got some Harbor Frieght wheels ($1.99 each) This was the only parts i had to buy.
i notched the side rails to make the fit better. here are all 4 rails ready to weld and go.

to make this a faster project, i found it was best to plug weld the casters the the rails.

here it is under the press. what a difference it is to push the press and have it move vrs getting the 2 wheel cart lean the pres back and watch the feet and roll around the garage.

here is the front side of the press. my only complaint was i was too cheap and did not get casters with locks, but that is ok i made some small roller chalks. This is still a good project. I starting to trust and like my welds. I learned the speed and heat range on the welder and now not so afraid of it.
