When i got this bronco the inside handle was missing. just to get the gate open i added this temp handle.

here is another view of the temp handle. it served for 1 year..

this tailgate had some rust issues. so i cleaned out the inside the best i could and hit it with some paint.

i found the window support mount was broken. i welded this and no more issues.

this is a shot from drivers side access hole. you can see the handle rod (coming from the right to the center)

here is the new handle i got from the junk yard.

My bronco did not have the access cover so i needed to make one or get one. i got lucky at the local junk yard.

some cleaning up and light sanding and a shot of flat black she will be ready to install.

all painted and new sheet metal screws (with anti-sieze) it looks good.
