I found this mount to be another reason for the "Death Wobble" the PO just welded a chunk of scrap to the frame and drilled a hole for the shock. this mount bent and was locking around the swaybar. this was poor workmanship. the welds are horrable.

Here is the issue when the wieght is on the wheels. this is bending the shock mount and locking around the swaybar. no good how ever you look at it.

I unbolted the shock and then grabbed the mount and it came right off. here is the old mount.

here is the frame where the mount tore off of. you can see the 2 holes in the frame i used these with the new mount. Funny thing is the new mount was inthe center box in the bronco.

this was an issues the shock was pinned around the swaybar.

These 2 holes were already in the frame. i just needed to open them up alittle.

I found this in the center storage container.

This is the stablizer the boot is old and beatup but the shock was new. as were the bushings. i decided to replace the bushings with poly and a new boot.

Here are all the parts for the new mount. new poly end links, new boot, mount, and bolts.

|
I drilled the holes larger to fit bigger grade 8 bolts.
|

here is the stablizer back installed with new poly end bushings. looks mush better.

Here is the other end. i added new poly bushings here too and a new boot. i re aligned the mount on the center link. this works so much better now.
