here is the donor truck. a 1992 F150 custom truck. theis truck was rear ended and demed a full loss. the next owner needed the front sheet metal and now me. i going to pull it apart and swap the motor in my 1983 bronco. This is a 4.9 EFI motor. and a 5 speed tranny. too bad it is a M5od not the ZF.

ok why i got this? well she was hit hard in the rear end. how hard look at the rear leaf spring and the drives shaft.

is this what they call rearching the spring? it was fun towing this back home.

the hit tore the shackle and bent the leaf spring and this is the back end of the spring.

here is the hydrolic clutch master cylinder. i not sure if i going to use it but it might go with the tranny when i sell it.

Here is the front of the efi motor. i going to redo my 3G swap and start the signaw power steering swap once this is in and running and the bugs are out.

here is the main wire harness for the computer. i going to have to sort it out and seperate what i need and what i do not need.

ok after a good soap and pressure wash she is looking better. i think i am going to do one more cleanup one good soaping.

well this was at noon. we had the cab and most of the truck stripped down. here is my oldest son removing the bed bolts.

Well after some grinding and cussing the bed gave up and came off. into the paper it goes.

Here is another view of the bed. very little damage to the pass side rear end.

here is view of the rear end. you can see whaere the spring hanger tore and the spring and tire gave way.

so at the end of the day we have an almost rolling frame and these parts (most going to the paper after the bronco is drivable.

there is a ton of wiring for a stock 1/2 ton truck....lol i got to sort thru and get all that is needed for the efi swap.

ok the rear fuel tank is out now. Time to make the frame disapear

here is the F150 rear tank. too small for the bronco but will work as a temp tank if needed.

now the rear part is chopped and the axle is now free from the frame.
|

now the frame is chopped the the rear truck cab mount.This is going with the cab for a rock crawler.
