well i had to swap out the fuel tank pump. you have to disconnect the fuel fill tube and the skid plate and the cover and drop the tank. here is the tank out of the beast.

make sure you remove the filler neck 8mm bolts. this allows the tank to drop some so it will come out easier.

on jack stands i had the tank out. here are the fuel tank straps.

Here is the new fuel pump-i went with a bosh 26 PSI/ 12 GPH from NAPA. Part number N69238. it had more pressure than the stock, but was listed as an OEM upgrade.

the old pump was out in a few seconds.

i had to use the specail jumper wire and the pump went right in. what a difference. it starts right up all the time now.
