This motorhome has a twin front drop bunk. i moved the extra room storage to the bunk and this dropped it down an inch-just enough for the bed to fall down as you drive untill it hits you in the head. can not have that. here is a whole bunk shot.

Here is the bunk dropped down. you can see the spare room on the bunk.

As i was in the store looking for ideas these stood out like a sore thumb. They were in the right price range too.

ok here is the driver side cabinet i need to make a support brace to hold the bed lock. The driver side is not to bad.

The pass side had a false wal inside it so i had to pull it out and do this upgrade.

here is the same space without the false wall in place. there is an outlet on the front of the cabinet so there was a spacer in place as well. i put in a 1X4 across the main support to hold the bunk lock. there is no real weight on it so it will be fine.

i was worried about the point digging into the bunk so i cut a chunk of swimming pool noodle. it can be easiled removed or there is enough room to set the lock into unlock and drop the bed.

Here is the drivers side pad.
after driving a few dozen miles this works great. this was a great fix.
