this is the old Pantry latch. it broke and just would not hold the door shut. it would slam open and i was afrad it would shater the mirror.

here is the door part of the catch.

the catch was stripped out and would not hold so i went to a newer style catch.

this is how the old catch worked. but the pin was in the door seam and would not hold.

off to Home Depot and got a magnet latch.

this is the step toolbox it has a broken latch system. here it is at the start.

you can see the bulit connectors are worn out. they are in the yellow boxes

here are the new top latches. this door now stays closed. nice to not have to kick the door shut then step out.
