This is the stock plat holder and it is faling apart. i plan on a new bumper and will make a better mount but i need a temp fix for now.

the plastic mount was ripping apart so i needed to make a patch.

i removed the tail light lens and then the mount is riveted to the tail light.

here is the fixed part. i made a steel patch panel so far it is real good.
