The front lights did not work on the cart and harbor freight had these on sale. not bad for $5

This was the dash. the silver pull switch is for the old light setup.

I ran new wires thru the whole cart. the last owner used 12 AWG solid core wire.

this is the old lights. the wiring was real poor so i decided to clean it up.

Here is the new ground wire. i soldered and heat shrank all connections.

Here is the driver side all connected and ready to go. i ran the line over to the pass side to power and ground the light.

Both front lights are now installed and just need to be adjusted.

I decided to wait until night to test them. this took a couple hours to install but i took my time.

these are bright. (update--i still need to adjust the position, but the light lit the paths without issue. I very happy with the install).

Here is the lit light switch. this worked perfectly on the camping trip. i had no issues with charging and the lights on.

The rear lights were 40 watt bulbs and faded. I got LED lights and ran all new wires. this will drop the power needed to run the lights.

These LED lights were bought at a local auto parts store. These were $8 each.

these have the same 2 wire connection as the original lights had. i even was able to use the old mounting holes.

these are plenty bright and very visable. these are only running lights as i not decided to run brake lights yet......

here they are at night and on. very bright and very low power consumption.
