We looked at this Skovby table for 4 years before we finally decided to buy it. It's tiny, but a neat design.
The top splits revealing the hidden leaves.
It's operated by this ring below, which has finger-notches. As you turn the ring CW, the top opens.
The top sections slide outward exposing the tops of the 3 leaves, concealed in the base.
The leaves are held down by a spring-loaded catch. Press & they release, rising automatically.
The spring lifts the leaves about halfway.

As they rise, the leaves spread into place.
Once the leaves are fully lowered, the ring can be turned CCW to close the gaps. If the table had been set, the leaves could still have been raised without clearing the table.
This is how we normally set the room.

After about 5 years, we picked out some handles for the kitchen cabinets. We don't like to rush into big decisions...

The china is Mikasa Opus Black. The stemware is (mostly) Mikasa Elegance Black. She collects WtP & rabbit figurines.

The front speakers are some old Bose 301s, but they sound great. The HK receiver has a white-noise generator & a mic input for automatic equalization.
The rear speakers are newer Bose 201s on swivel mounts. The wires run thru the attic to wall plate spring terminals at each end. They're slightly intrusive when you look at them, but they're high enough not to notice.

Nothing wrong with the old frig except she didn't like the color. The matching oven & dishwasher are on-order...

Like the frig & dishwasher, she just wanted to change the color.

The shepherd: a new G21g4 (.45ACP) red-label (13-rd mags) with all the accessories.

LaserLyte RTB-GL
eBay $75 w/o package or 4 batteries; 10 Maxell LR626 cost another $2.34.
The sight did require minor filing to fit, so I suspect it might not have been the Glock version. But it's solid & the laser works well.

Glock 21 Gen4 with all 3 mags & an Army earplug case in a NanoVault200. After I added the clipdraw & laser rear sight, it all still fits easily.

We found the inside door trim had become just a shell of paint in some places, and there was a small swarm of termites from behind the fridge last weekend, so I ripped out the fridge wall, and built a temporary wall on the front porch.

We found the inside door trim had become just a shell of paint in some places, and there was a small swarm of termites from behind the fridge last weekend, so I ripped out the fridge wall, and built a temporary wall on the front porch for a temporary front door. Then I pulled the original door frame out to inspect. It's only damaged about 3" long and maybe 1/2" deep on the far Right side of the jamb, but we're still considering a new replacement.
After pulling the door out, I could see that they had really gone after the siding. I'll probably hire a pro to replace that after I re-set the door.
