Glow Plug Relays
IF THE IMAGE IS TOO SMALL, click it.

The symptom I noticed was that the voltage no longer dropped during the WTS light, or after startup - it would immediately jump to ~14V. That indicated that the glow plugs were not burning, even though they're new MotorCraft, with new Dorman VCGs. So I checked voltage on the GPR output and found it was nearly 0 during WTS, even though there was battery voltage across the small terminals. That meant that the relay had failed internally, so rather than replace it with a new Ford/MC relay, I bought this heavier relay on advice from TheDieselStop. But I had to fabricate a mounting bracket for it. I might re-build the bracket later, because I think this one will crack soon. But it does fit under the original engine cover.
