Getting rid of the old style starter and going to the new gear reduction stater means effortless starts from the higher torque starter. I know it isn't actually spinning faster, but is sure sounds like it and starts are instant compared to the old POS. You can purloin one used from any used junkyard 5.0 or 5.8 litre truck or van from 92 and up. The yards here were already cleaned out.
