I just got my 6 inch lift on and I still have the sway bars on, both front and back. What benefits, if any would I get from taking them off? What draw backs would I see from removing them?

Anyone have an answer? If not, I will just do my own R&D.

I removed both sway bars from my 84 Bronco when I installed the SkyJ 6" lift. I did not notice any harmful effects liek body roll, but gained a little suspension flex. Unless you install drop brackets, the factory sway bars will be in a huge bind with a lift. I would remove them, unless you plan to do much towing, and that's not a good idea with a lifted Bronco anyway. But the sway bars help reduce the trailer or Bronco from wanting to walk sideways while towing down the highway at cruising speed.
