Hey all,

Can anyone please help a out? Does the stock dipstick have "FoMoCo" on the dipstick? I don't know this info since I have never had an automatic in any of the Ford's I have owned in the past. Please someone give me an answer.

Does anyone have info regarding the length of the C6 transmission dipstick. I have a dipstick that appears to be to short. If one of you know, and/or could do a quick check, I would be greatly appreciative of your help. Not that it makes any difference but I have a 351C with the C6 tranny.

Again thanks,

Eric

Thanks for getting back to me. Fortunately I found a parts house that had a correct dipstick. Also, if you want to know what transmission you have you can check the identification label on the driver side door column. Codes are, W for C4, U for C6, X for FMX and Z for C6 Special.
