I pulled the 351m engine out of my 79' ford Ranchero to rebuild it to a 400. Yes the famous 351m to 400 upgrade. You see the 351m, which is bigger(1"taller) than the 351c or 351w, is the same block that ford used to make the 400m. Hotter cam, 3 angel valve job,new crank, new pistons, boost the compression a little, basic 400 blueprint, she was built to be a torquey street rod, that runs on pump gas.reliable, lil better than stock. I never got to put her back in, now I need to sell it. This engine would be good in a Bronco, F-150, F-250, Mustang or any late 70's early 80's Ford car or truck. call if your serious.
