I used a 3" hole saw to cut the fender. The exhaust shop did a good job of centering the pipe.

I asked him to leave it tucked behind the fender.

Unfortunately the exhaust moves around when it heats up...

I think this is clearanced enough. I may make an aluminum plate to clean up the area a bit.
