This is what happens when an alternator is run at max. output for too long. It can also happen simply due to age, which is why I suspect this one died. It came from the JY, so there's no telling how many miles are on it. I assume the diode blew first, causing all the other damage. IF THE IMAGE IS TOO SMALL, click it.
