Hello I have owned my 2001 P71 Crown Vic for almost a year now. I bought it directly from a police department up by Chicago. The Major who sold it to me told me that some of the paint had come off and they "repaired" it. Well I guess they think repair means to just spray paint over it. Of course that is slowly coming off but now I've noticed that the paint in other areas is coming off too. It is just the standard white they did the fleet vehicles in. The primer is there just fine, it's just the paint comes off for no reason, there isn't even a chip there to start it or anything. I am just wondering if there was a recall on the paint job or something of the sort. It's really starting to bother me so I need to find out something.
Thanks, Josh |

Do you think darker colors could be used in the same fashion? Like maybe a flat black? do you think it would give it that "suede" look? |
