With the bore blocked by paper towels, I brushed the corrosion out of the bowl and off the reluctor, and clearcoated both. Then I scraped the area around the ground screw clean, applied electrical grease, steel-woolled the shaft, and applied PTFE (Teflon) grease to it & the bore.
