i picked up these shackle mounts on ebay. figuered it would give the bumper some more beefy looks and add functionality. the shackles are 3/4" D-rings from harbor freight
i removed one of the 3 bolts per side holding the sides of the bumper on and then drilled the lower hole. i have the mounts slightly angled to help prevent them from swaying back and forth as much when driving. also slightly better if used with some side load
