I painted the reccessed Lincoln star emblems on my Mark's chrome 10 spoke alloys in gloss black. I think it's a nice touch, but was a little bit of a PITA to make it look factory.

After some work with the dremel from the BACK SIDE, I made a square opening for the fuel door release solenoid to slide through. I used some self-tapping screws into the platic to secure it.

You will need to remove the fuel cap to fit it in/out. I...

The stock door panel has a plastic plug where the fuel door switch would go

If you pry it up a little, you will actually see the 'FUEL' text printed underneath

Removing the door panel will uncover the factory fuel door wiring clipped to the plug.



If you're lucky, you can pry out the plug from the top, and the wiring will come out with it - without having to pull the door panel.

If not, you can pop...
