THe hole.


THis is where the shifter cable used to go.

I used a 1-5/8" iirc black rubber tapered plug from lowes to fill it. Works great! And is great for routing wires for future projects!

The stock shifter cable, rerouted and floating on the new shifter.

I used a ton of nylon locking 'zip' ties to secure it down.

The shifter is bolted down using carriage bolts, and sealed with RTV.


In retrospect, some socket head cap bolts...
