After about 5 minutes with a power polisher & some swirl remover, the old fogged yellow headlights look almost new.

UPDATE
...and after about 3 months, they look like crap again.

I'm not saying ScanGauge is a bad product - it's great as a gauge & a "black box". But this early one doesn't read all codes correctly. It never reads ONE code; it always show 3: the first one shows correctly, and then ...

I made another one, and although they work, there's an obvious bright spot; especially for the top L one. I'll pull them out & try some different white & milky coatings to disperse the light more evenly.

Pull the base down & out of the fender. The black plastic bezel can stay on top of the fender.

This fender is bent here, and pushed back against the passenger door. It also carried the hood back on this side, making it turn & overlap here.

The clip is permanently attached to the line on the R. After removing the bolt from the top (not visible), swing the clip up to separate the lines.

These cheap lights are easy to mount & aim. In this location, it will also be easy to change the bulbs by reaching up thru the bumper skin.

The trim around the doors and windows is removed. The "LTD Crown Victoria" is also removed. The "Crown" trim in the center of the roof is removed as well.
