kimg0099.jpg i looked at the floor for the line of spot welds. this is where a crossmember is to hold the floor. i started cutting alittl away form the spot welds hoping to miss the crossmember. i then cut about a foot wide. i cut about 8 inches back which is enough to get the pump out but a couple more inches would make it easier.

i used a sawzaw with a blade i cut shorter to prevent hitting the tank. i tried to be extra carefull not to hit the electrical or fuel hoses. remember there is also a vent hose which i almost hit
