My Excursion won.

But I suffered some bruises. Thankfully everyone is alright! Excursions kick ass! The poor kid was going too fast, got sideways going down a snow covered hill and plowed into my wife and 5 of my kids doing around 40-50 (i think). The back window blew out upon impact! He spun 5 times after and landed in a snow bank and is still in the hospital but will be okay. My family walked away.

Did I say that Excursions kick ass?!

Monsta,

Glad every one is alright,I read this on the other site. The proof is in the truck. I see that and am happy on my purchase of the "X" and feel good when the family gets in. Once again, happy to see every one is ok and keep a eye out for those late pains and bruises.

I shoulda been more clear. I didn't get bruises. I wasn't in it. I was referring to the truck.

The kids hardly felt it! And my wife was "braced for impact".

Ouch! I'm glad everyone is o.k. That incident reinforces the old rule that mass usually wins. I'm glad I have 8000 pounds on my side, too. I hope you get the X back in action soon.

Good news about the family. I feel bad for the X. It looks mostly cosmetic although with as much as the front quarter panel is peeled back, I'm surprised the tire/wheel looks "normal."

These things happen.

The same day I got my new License plates for my new truck, Someone ran a redlight and hit us. He was in a 1990 full size Blazer.

About 4K damage to my truck (no airbag deployment) and his was totaled! I like the tow hooks, They took most of the impact

After the crash, Kids said "what was that". Everyone says these truck are dangerous. If we were driving a Toyota tercel and were hit by a Blazer, we would have been in bad shape.
