hello everyone how do i retime dist after removal its a 1993 ford 150 4.9l standard i put no one cyl on tdcdropped in dist to no one on cap it runs but not very good ty sorry but spark plugs went bad ok now

O K , put yer finger over the #1 hole . With that done , get yer heper to turn the motor over manualy as you "FEEL " the pressure gaining .

Now stop right there !

Get a screw driver , a long one and see if the screw driver is hitting the top of the piston in it's "Up Right position ". if it is , GREAT! This means that you can now put the distributor at the spot where the rotor should point at #1. If yer on the drivers side , that generally means the rotor should be at or about 4 oclock and pointing down at ya too.

Driving , the most social thing you will EVER DO !
