My 1990 F150 has dual tanks. When turned on the fuel pump whines for a while (30 seconds to 5 minutes) before it will turn over. I know and have been told this means the fuel pump is kaput. Does anyone know how difficult it is to drop the tanks and change the fuel pump? I live in a fairly tight subdivision and would have to do it in my driveway. Anything major or messy is out of the question. Thanks. |

pull the bed or at least prop it up after you take the bolts out and unplug the tail lights.
