kimg1042.jpg The headlights in my Expedition were looking very old and i always wanted to do some retrofit LED headlights instead of the oldschool HID projectors

The LED projectors are from DDM Tuning 3" Bi-LED projectors. They have a threaded shank for easy install. they have a solenoid activated shutter for high beam while the bulb stays the same brightness. They draw about 4amps so they should be useable on stock wiring.

The LED does not have a replaceable bulb so hopefully these bulbs will last a long time because replacing the projector will not be easy

By comparison, these seem brighter than the 35w HID projectors i used for my F250 and probably compete with the 55w i used on the Bronco. I might start using these now on for simplicity of not needing a ballast and having less heat

The headlight housings are TYC brand. Hopefully they will last a long time. They did not want to come apart at all.
