I use these Mr. Gasket ultra-seal header gaskets, to connect the reducer to the cat and I've never burned them out yet. Not bad for $5 a pair. I also coat them in high heat, sensor safe, Permatex Ultra Copper gasket goo too.

How did I get the Y-pipe to bolt up ? It was @ 1 1/8" too narrow, meaning I had to widen the headpipes away from each other. I just jammed an old shovel handle down one and bent it gently 3 times until it BOLTED RIGHT UP to the supposedly Mustang onl...

Guess that's why it wasn't working. The actuator was laying in the bottom of the door, having fallen down once the rivet let go. The green hook was still in place(very much separate from the actuator), but the driver's lock wasn't locking or unlockin...

This reveals the stock 15 year old plug wires. Look carefully and you can see "1990" marked right on the coil wire. Another clue these are original is the non-removable heat shielding on the wires used here and there.

My pics are not really doing it justice, it's a piece of "Flow art" in my opinion. The first 2" in each pipe are stretched to accept 2 1/4" headpipes from the manifolds or headers, to be welded into it.

Sticking the rubber vacuum plugs on both ends of the lines helps keep them clean as you install them.

Three 1/4" drill holes and connect them and you've got a notch that will accept the angle steel notch. This allows you to place the adaption frame into there and use just two upper bolts to keep the fan, on it's shroud, located in place.

Four eyelets(that should have had removeable screws) drilled out and the sides of the case separated with a carpet knife, here's the result.

I knew it worked fine as I was listening to it jump around in the doors since last Fall. I reinstalled the gear toothed hook part and glued the case back together and tie wrapped it until the glue dried.
