Door & Ignition Lock Cylinder Replacements

For any '80-96/7 F-series or Bronco, the best way to return the truck to new (un-worn) matched door & ignition keys (even '80-89s that used round-head door keys) is to buy an aftermarket (Standard
DL140 or
DL140T) pair of 8-cut door lock cylinders with new keys, and build a new Ford 1L3Z11582A or
MotorCraft SW6383 8-cut lock cylinder kit to match those new keys according to this instruction sheet:

pre-built set of aftermarket cylinders with genuine keys is available, but lower quality.
