The story
this was another junkyard refuge. i found it the day it came in. the owner had taken it apart to restore it and could not get it back together. the junkyard could not find the title so i called the guy and he said he still had it and i could come get it. when i went to his house he had all the parts stacked up and asked if i wanted them! i ended up bolting it all back together and driving it as is for a while before i sold it. the car was unusual because it had the normal XR-7 stuff like power steering, disc brake, AC, and stereo but it did not come with a console! it had an ashtray made out of burlwood decal trim to match the dash. i have only seen a couple of XR-7's without a console and i didn't like it. i put a console in the car and still have that ashtray! — Tom Cherry AKA Hawkrod
