bronco-tub-wall-patches-001.jpg On both sides of the tub, just under the seat, I had that galvanic rust at the seam welds.  Sorry no picture of the rust.  After removing and cleaning the area, I made a patch panel from my old hood skin.  A little shaping with a body hammer and it fits like a glove.

Just a note:
When you remove large sections of sheet metal for replacement, KEEP the good portion of the sheet metal. It may come in handy someplace else on the truck.
