I just bought a very cool '65 Ranchero, a factory 289 4-speed car. I crawled all over and under it yesterday looking for ID tags, and everything jives with the door tag. Lovin' that.
It currently has staggered steel wheels with poverty caps; 15" on back, 14" on front, but I'd like to put 15s on the front too. I want to avoid the dorky "too far inside the wheelwell" look, but not so radical that I can't drive it everyday over any roads.
Can you guys give me some idea what width and tire size works well without rubbing?
