i love the rumble of a v8 along with the rumble of some deep bass! i currently have 2 jl audio 12" w0 subs powered by a punch 800. according to friends and a couple of dealers, wired correctly i can get around 1,000 watts. i would like to know if this is true. around here j; is hard to come by. does it mean they r good? i want to get 2 or 4 12" subs with a new bigger amp or two but dont know what brands to go with. i would like jl but circuit city is closer than a jl dealer. i dont want to go the distance if i can get something just as good sounding and dependable closer. please somebody help me!!

yes, you can get that much power out of it, assuimg ur giving it enough volts, yous hould be pushing it at least 800, how do you have it wired now? and go to jl.com..they have a wiring diagram to show you how to wire your subs for diff ohm loads..good luck
also, jl subs and rockford amps are hard to beat, rockford's HX2s are a great sub too though, they have better SPL but still have good SQ, whereas jls are mainly for SQ |
