Added BG Engine system cleaner & drained oil/filter and replaced with Mobil 1 Clean drive 5000/STP S16 filter/BG MOA. Added BG transmission cleaner and drained ATF. Replaced with Valvoline Dex/Merc III and BG Soft transmission shift additive.
Double checked all bolts from lift. Greased all fittings. Centered steering wheel.
Removed front bumper endcaps, lower splitter, front & rear flares, and rear endcaps.
Painted rear driveshaft satin black.
Installed factory XJ gas tank skid plate.

Finally had a chance to hand wash the Jeep. Washed it with Meguiar's Gold class soap, dried it, Scratch X'd the entire XJ, Polished the entire XJ, and finally waxed the whole XJ. Broke a wheel stud off of the passanger side rear axle. I got a hold of a new stud and was in the process of 'sucking' it in with a lug when it began to spin - oh shit!! It was too late, the splines had been stripped off of the stud and axleshaft... So, the search for a new (or used) 29 spline C8.25 axle shaft begins... Also Coolant flushed the cooling system with a BG CT2 machine (50antifreeze/50 H20). Flushed and Bled the brakes (no more soft pedal). Also determined that the rear drums were NFG - so as soon as the shoes wear out, it's getting a complete rear brake job... | 30.00 | | 08/19/04 | Repair | 162126 | Transmission Mount
Clunking noise had gotten noticibly worse... got the XJ up on a lift and found one bolt from the transmision mount (mounts to crossmember) missing & stripped, the other losse, and 2/4 nuts missing from the area where the isolator mounts to the crossmember (oh shit!!). Had clunking noise leaving from a stop, and just coming to a stop, determined it is most likely worn out bushings loading/unloading...
