Centerline HT Vectors w/ 33x12.5x16.5 BFGoodrich Radial All-Terrain T/As. 2" rear wheel spacers, 4 Centramatic wheel balancers & 4 Rancho RS9000X adjustable shocks. Painted to match grill inserts - front chin spoiler w/ driving lights & AVS hood deflector. '96 F350 front bumper w/ cutouts. Clear front corner lenses w/ chrome amber bulbs. Summit Moonvisor w/ clear Peterson lenses and chrome amber bulbs, Lund Windjammer rear deflector - textured and everything painted to match. Clouded white grab bar handles replaced with clear acrylic bars. Badging added to the tailgate - C350 Classic - Bronco & Turbo Diesel, all Ford factory. New Fleetrite blue ES coolant was under-mixed and the rig boiled the coolant and overheated.

Drained old green fluid and flushed with water while idling for 15 minutes. Drained radiator, and filled with only 5 gallons of Fleetrite blue ES coolant. (capacity of 8 gallons...? too much water left in system) Added 32oz of Fleetrite DCA4 to bring the molybdate and nitrite levels down. 3 Motorcraft glow plugs, F2TZ-12A342-A, list at $23.97 but I got 'em for $16.78 each.... $50.34 total.
A stop by Napa got me an 8 inch 1/4 drive extension, a 1/4 inch drive u-joint, and 11" offset long nose pliers.

Opened up the tailgate wiring harness to install a CL107 7" Lumi Logo. I found a bunch of cheesy/broken wire connections. Repaired all of them and made a new harness to get the window defogger working. Rewired the and hooked up the rear window switch. The factory tailgate blue Ford logo was a *itch to get off. I had to drill into the logo, start a screw and pull it off while cutting the sticky back tape. Swapped out the factory grill Ford logo with a CL100 4 1/2" Lumi Logo from Topline. Spliced it into the running lights at the left turn signal. Added Centramatic 'on vehicle' wheel balancers to all 4 corners. It took a couple hundred miles for the ride to really smooth out. These are great! El cheapo American Racing AR23 rims started peeling clearcoat. $400 is being refunded and then spent again on new Centerline HT Vectors, 16.5x10s... $400 delivered. Here's what he did; synthetic tranny flush & fluid kit, service front/rear diffs & transfer case w/ 75w-140 synthetic gear oil, fan clutch and install, Federated oil filter, balance 4 tires, repair fuel leak, cleaned K&N air filter, and repaired boost gauge feed line.

Bought new off eBay. Replaced included Peterson amber lenses with Peterson clears, and clear bulbs with chrome ambers.
Prepped, based, and cleared assembly and bolt caps. Installed wiring, lenses, bulbs, and tested it. Layed it out on the roof, drilled 1/8" holes, applied 3M double stick tape to areas of the visor touching the roof. Filled the drill holes with silicone adhesive/sealant and anchored the visor with stainless steel sheet metal screws. Prep Lund Windjammer rear window deflector for paint and cut out section for the 3rd brake light . Apply Bulldog adhesion promoter and a light coat of Ford YO basecoat. Then a few coats of 3M coarse texture rocker panel spray, to duplicate the rear cap texture. A heavier layer of YO, then when dry, sand to knock down high spots. Finish basecoating outside and inside. Mix Dimension 5500 clearcoat 50/50 with Sherwin Ultra 7000 TIF271 to give clearcoat a matte finish; 2 ounces total. Remove interior roof panels and rear cap. Grind all initial bondo and expose all seams and rust. Mask entire vehicle, reseal seams and drip rails. Add 3 gallons of fiberglass filled filler as base; to grade water off the roof. Apply Wurth seam sealer and Rust Guard. 2 layers of primer filler and 4 layers of Ford YO basecoat; approx. 1 1/2 pints. Wet sand and apply 2 thick coats of Dimension 5500 clearcoat; approx 1/2 quart. Unmask, and clean up! | 400.00 | | 09/27/05 | Repair | 82540 | window tint
