The instructions for the
projector headlights said to splice the halo wires, but I simply added bulb adapters and plugged them in. It wasn't clear why they said to remove the bumper skin, until it became apparent that the lights DON'T FIT. It was necessary to grind away a lot of the plastic structure so that the lights can be aimed later. So while the bumper skin was off, its upper surface was painted & clearcoated. The broken ends of the plastic bumper bar were also re-attached so the fog lights would stay in-place.
