Here's a pair of used EFI exhaust manifolds I pulled from a friend's Bronco with a 4.9. It took us nearly five hours to get them off after slowly wading through all the EFI equipment. Being 110 degrees out didn't help.
This will switch the 300's exhaust from the single 2" out on the carb manifold to dual 1.75" outs on the EFI. That's over 1.5 more square inches of exhaust outlet.
The pipe on the left is the EGR pipe that routes up behind the engine to the EGR valve.
The plate at the bottom will be explained later.
