now here is something you don't see everyday, bought from my grampa in late 2000 before he died of cancer back in mid 2001, so i do have some emotional attachment to it,
i was in the process of turning it into a turbo daytona clone, i.e spoilers and ground effects to set it apart from the regular daytonas, got it halfway there, had a custom exhaust and the rear hatch spoiler along with the two side spoilers, all i needed was the ground effects and it woulda been a turbo daytona ringer, lol,
but the tranny went out twice, chrysler auto transaxles just plain don't like spirited driving, lol, so after the second tranny went out six months after i put it in i decided to park it, my plans are to eventually swap in a chrysler turbo II intercooled 2.2L turbo I-4 complete with the getrag 5 speed (A-555?) transaxle,
it's hard finding those engines in decent shape, though, even harder to find the trannies, i'll probably have to go with a turbo I engine and intercool it, i dunno, it's on the back burner for now.
