Seems like it would but I figure I would ask here before I waste my money. =P
I've heard of some people with high end competition grade sound, using more than one car battery. If this is worth doing what battery and how would you mount the extras (not much room left in my trunk btw, subs take alot of space). Also what alternator would you guys suggest?

2004 CVPI w/kenwood hd radio, 4 JL audio stock sized interior speakers, a Rockford Fosgate 1500 watt amp and 2 12" Rockford Fosgate p3 'Punch' sub-woofers in a custom box in the trunk. I have a pretty nice JL audio amp on hold right now, going to set it up to power the interior speakers, which will (hopefully) free up a bit of power to go to my sub-woofers.

yes it will...If your lights dim when the bass hits then a upgraded electrical is needed.
yes you should upgrade your alternator, IF your system is drawing to much power. if you really believe you need a second battery, my suggestion is the Shuriken battery. i personally run one and it hasnt faild me yet.
